What nutritional issues can Didi help with?

Weight management

Do you live with overweight or obesity and are you eager to work with a dietitian to find healthy lifestyle options that work for you? I will work with you to plan for strategies that suit your tastes, lifestyle and past experiences. Together, we will find ways to overcome the struggles and obstacles that you may face, and build on sustainable and do-able habits.

Gut Health

Do you struggle with constipation or diarrhoea? Or are you looking for ways to manage your irritable bowel syndrome (including Low FODMAP diet), coeliac disease, reflux, gastritis or other gut condition? I can help you find the root cause of your problem and work with you to put YOU back in control of your symptoms!

Heart Healthy diets

Recently diagnosed with high cholesterol or high blood pressure? Are you looking for ways to eat for a healthy heart? Dietitian Didi will help you learn about the critical way in which your diet affects your heart health, and tailor a plan to suit your needs!

Neurological conditions

Are you experiencing a neurological condition that affects your eating and swallowing? Dietitian Didi has significant experience in working with people with conditions such as Parkinsons Disease, Motor Neurone Disease and Multiple Sclerosis from her time working in the area of neurology in a Dublin hospital.

Healthy Ageing

Our nutrition needs can change as we age, and keeping up with a healthy diet can help you towards maintaining your health, mobility and vitality. Find out more today about how Dietitian Didi can help you or a loved one use healthy nutrition to promote healthy ageing! Didi worked in the area of “medicine for the Elderly” in hospitals and long-term care settings across Ireland.

Poor Appetite

Unfortunately, 1 in 4 people admitted to Irish hospitals is at risk of malnutrition, and this is putting us at risk of infection, reduced mobility and poor skin healing. We can work with you to make the most of your food and nutrition when your appetite is poor. Didi can work alongside your doctors and therapy team to help you maintain and improve your nutritional health.

Healthy Eating

While many of us know the basics of healthy eating, it can be very useful to speak to a dietitian to help you find ways to implement them. We can help you identify the facts from the fads, and can make suggestions on how to improve your diet for your health.

Plant-based diets

Are you eager to move to a more plant-based diet? Flexitarian, vegetarian and vegan diets are on the rise, and are shown to be beneficial for both our health and our planet. Didi herself is striving to eat more sustainably, and can help you to make sure your diet is meeting all your nutrition needs.

Intuitive eating

Many of us struggle with a complicated relationship with food and our bodies. Didi can help you to tune back in to your hunger/satiety cues and help you delve into the thought-processes behind your emotional and stress eating.

And more!

I know how tough it is to make changes to our diet and lifestyle.

Busy schedules, competing priorities and now social distancing…

You have obstacles to eating healthily that are UNIQUE to YOU.

No standard nutrition plan or diet has worked because it just didn’t fit into your life and didn’t understand your struggles.

What people say about Didi

For the first time in my life, diet is no longer a churn of lenghty measuring of boring food. Didi doesn't care only to keep you healthy, but also to keep you motivated. Her suggestions are actionable and easy to adopt; plus her explanations made me way more sensitive to what happens in my belly.

Didi helped me tackle my bloating and IBS. She was professional and taught me a lot about how to listen to my gut and how to eat in a way to reduce my bloating. She was always happy to answer my questions and I was glad that I felt that nothing was too embarassing to discuss. She made me feel welcome and listened to.
Ellen
Client who attended online clinic sessions for gut health
I really enjoyed my initial consultation with Didi. She found what knowledge I already had and built on that and decided a plan to show me how to best practice that. I am really looking forward to our next session to really delve in to the other areas of healthy eating.

I am enjoying our meetings and I’m appreciating the results too. Thanks Didi.

Virtual client for gut health sessions
I definitely would recommend to anyone interested in changing eating habits. I like the non-judgemental long-term approach as opposed to focussing on weight-loss and a non-sustainable approach.

Client who completed in-person Dublin-based weight-management programme
Will definitely by recommending Didi to my friends. Learned so much that I'm doing wrong and can't wait to change it!
